TART OPTICAL ARNEL JD-04, 2018SS Release

〇 A复刻 of the 1950s TART OPTICAL ARNEL, famously worn by Johnny Depp.

〇 Compared to the JD-55, it has a sharper, more edgy impression.

〇 The nose pads are designed with a high mound for a comfortable fit for Japanese people.

〇 The hinges connecting the front and temples also replicate the robust 7-barrel hinges of the era, crafted using a traditional riveting method. The decorative rivets feature the diamond shape that is a characteristic and identity of ARNEL.

〇 Made of celluloid, just like in its original era.

〇 For the BLACK color (Color 001), light gray CR lenses (10%) are included, making them ready for immediate use.

〇 Available in 4 lens sizes: 42□23, 44□24, 46□24, and 48□24.

MOSCOT(モスコット)は4世代に渡りモスコット家がニューヨークのロウワーマンハッタンで経営してきた老舗眼鏡専門店です。

1897年、創業者”ハイマン・モスコット”がオーチャード・ストリートで押し車に載せて既製品の眼鏡販売を開始、1915年にレヴィンストリートの94番地に店を構えました。これがMOSCOTの始まりです。

1930年代にはハイマンの息子でNY州認定眼鏡士の”ソル・モスコット”がビジネスに参画し、オリジナルフレームの開発に着手しました。’53年には”ソル”の息子である”ジョエル・モスコット”が加わり、彼らが中心となり伝説的なモデルが生み出されていきます。1986年にジョエルの息子で眼科医の”ハーヴェイ・モスコット”が参入、グローバルにビジネスを展開し始め、今に至ります。
